Project Description

YOU DON’T TAKE A PHOTOGRAPH, YOU MAKE IT

Rust has visually and symbolically fascinated me for a long time;  while normally viewed and associated with decay, it is also a natural process of oxidisation, of iron (fe) coming into contact with air. In that process and when layers of paints and other metals are involved, the texture and colours which appear can be outstandingly beautiful as they draw your attention deeper into them. This oxidisation, which has one expression in iron, is universal and effects everything.
